Ian Green

Chairman of Trustee Board

Ian boasts a vast amount of experience within the education and training sector, having worked in senior roles for over 25 years. His role as Managing Director of Complete Skills Solutions (Part of The Progress Group), see him draw on his strategic leadership experience to drive the business forward. This experience has included operations, business development and product development making him well placed to grow and enhance the businesses offer in meeting the national adult skills agenda. 

Wendy Spencer

Trustee

Wendy has been with the gbp business for over 15 years and is part of the gbpartnerships group Executive Team, working closely with the Chair, CEO and other Directors across the group. She leads the back-office operations team, HR, IT, Quality, CSR, Social Value and internal and external communications functions across the company and is an experienced Senior Manager within the Estates Management Team.

Wendy is an accomplished professional, focused on delivery of both organisational and client objectives and business growth, through constructive challenge and an inclusive approach to optimising team performance. An avid fund raiser with a passion for improving the communities in which she works.  

 

John William Hodkinson

Trustee

Local Councillor. Former business Owner, Masters in Business Administration, over 30 years in senior management, Qualified Engineer, Chair of Planning Committee, Trustee of Ellen Greenoe (Sutton) Charity, Board Member of the Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust and School Governor.

Phil Mayall

Trustee

Phil joined Muse Places in 2006 to assist with the delivery of the company’s mixed use regeneration portfolio and was promoted to the role of Development Director in 2011.  He assumed the role of Regional Director in 2018. He is now responsible, as Muse’s North West Managing Director, for a wide range of projects and heads up the team of development directors and surveyors in the Salford office. He is also a member of the main Muse board and ECF (English Cities Fund) Board.

Since joining Muse he has delivered, or currently has on site, over 700,000 sq ft of offices, 550 new homes, a 143 bedroom hotel and 2 large multi storey car parks.  He has also successfully led two CPOs and gained consent for the largest ever planning application submitted to Salford City Council.

Phil also secured the forward funding of 3 PRS residential developments at New Bailey. Development of the 225 units has commenced, a scheme that is one of the first institutionally funded PRS developments in the city.

Phil is a member of the Investment Property Forum and the British Council for Offices, where he was formerly Chair of the Northern Region Next Gen committee.

Stuart Brighouse

Trustee

Stuart spent 24 years in the British Army. Reaching the rank of Warrant Officer Class Two. Currently working as A Risk Assessor. In his spare time he runs Ultra Marathons and supports St Helens Rugby League Club.
